It is rehabilitation clinic for kids with mental and physical disabilities. This clinic serves kids from varying economic backgrounds from destitute to middle class. This placement need volunteer since There are not sufficient personnel to take care of the youngsters. The clinic receives no government funding. About 95% of the children that come to the clinic are from really poor families and live with cerebral palsy, down sydrome or other special handicaps. Handicapped kids are usually regarded as a punishment and at times are not cared for at all. The clinic offers a parent program to teach the parents how to correctly care for their child. The parent in the program lives on the premises for the last 3 weeks of their child’s stay and is taught how to care for their child. In exchange for participation in the program, every parent assists in duties at the clinic, such as laundry, cooking, or cleaning. Even though treatment is usually free, a symbolic fee is typically paid, such as a bag or rice or potatoes. Volunteers should be of age 20 or above with minimum education of Undergraduation.
